Metal sheds usually come apart panel by panel, but rust, sharp edges, anchored frames, and a cramped work area can change the plan. A clear description of the frame and base helps the crew arrive prepared.
Check the frame and anchors
Photograph corners, roof connections, floor rails, and any bolts or anchors at the base. Do not force badly corroded panels loose before the job; torn sheet metal creates sharp, unstable edges.
Keep the route clear
A removed panel can be wider than the doorway it came through. Measure the gate and identify the straightest path from the shed to the loading point.
Questions to answer
Is the shed freestanding? Is it bolted to concrete or a timber platform? Are there live wires, fuel containers, or chemicals inside? Is the structure leaning or partly collapsed?
Photos, measurements, access notes, material, contents, base, and any utility or hazardous-material concern.
